NovelReader is designed around user-owned files and personal metadata. Supported non-iOS-App-Store builds can also connect personal servers and authorized catalogs through user-configured integrations. It does not operate a bookstore or upload book files into cloud sync.
Integrations by design
iOS App Store builds include no preloaded extension repositories; users may add third-party HTTPS repositories manually after the extension safety notice and per-extension consent. Extensions run through sandboxed integrations, declared capabilities, and host-mediated networking.
